Estate Tree Service was established in 1957 by Ernest Webb in Louisville, Kentucky. This family-run business saw Ernest’s son, Mike, join the team at just 16 years old.
Over the decades, Estate Tree Service built a strong reputation in Louisville through quality workmanship, competitive rates, and integrity.
In 1992, Mike took the reins of the business. After his father’s passing a few years later, Mike opted to relocate the business to Frankfort to be closer to his family.
In 2010, Mike teamed up with his cousin, Greg Dempsey. Together, they uphold the tradition, values, founding principles, and mission set forth by Ernest Webb: to provide safe, high-quality tree care at a fair price to customers in Frankfort and the Central Kentucky area.
In 2024, Patrick and Paula Sumner of Winchester, Kentucky acquired Estate Tree Service. They are carrying forward the same values Ernest built the company on — honest work, fair prices, and taking care of your trees the right way. The Sumners are also expanding service to Clark, Montgomery, and Bourbon counties.
